1. What exactly is a Zip and Link?
A Zip and Link bed is a divan base or mattress that is specially designed for quick and easy changing between either a 5ft King or 6ft Superking bed into 2 separate Singles. It should be noted that by default our Zip and Link beds and mattresses are 6ft3 in length. This is to accommodate standard single bedding when split apart.
Very simple to use and highly flexible, the Zip and Link is hugely popular in both hotel and domestic environments. Almost all bases, mattresses and headboards provided by Linx Beds are available in this design and are available in 5ft Zip and Link and 6ft Zip and Link sizes with options for extension to 6ft6 in length.

4. Could I send in my own fabrics?
We are able to upholster our divan bases and headboards in almost any fabric.

5. May I request a fabric sample card?
It is often a good plan to take a closer look at our own in-house fabrics that are available before placing your order, so why not request a sample card. Don’t forget to ask if there is a particular colour you would like as we are always looking at updating our existing fabrics selection. Please contact us by calling 01924 566 403 or using the Contact Us form to send a request while making sure to contain your name and address. Sample cards are sent with Royal Mail.
We are also able to upholster any of our bed bases or headboards in your own choice of fabric. This is an ideal solution if you are looking to coordinate all your furnishings, bring a bespoke look to your room or if we do not have your preferred shade currently on our site.
6. When will my order be delivered?
For bed orders we aim to deliver between 1-3 weeks, from the date of order and payment to most of the mainland UK. Please note that this depends on stock levels, manufacturing schedules, courier queries,etc.
Bedding and smaller orders are dispatched with Royal Mail or other courier for delivery within 5 working days.

7. How much is delivery?
We offer a free White Glove Two Man Room of Choice delivery service to most of the mainland UK. However, if you wish to upgrade your delivery service we have a range of options including assembly, time specific slots and even the option to remove your old bed. 8. Where can you deliver?
Within the UK, we can deliver to most mainland postcodes. The only exceptions are smaller Scottish islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and some remote Highland postcodes. Outside the UK, Linx Beds can arrange delivery to almost anywhere in the world. If you are interested in delivery outside of the UK, please contact us and we will provide a custom quote.
9. Will I get a delivery time slot?
Our main courier, Keen and Able, will provide a 3 hour time slot when you book a date with them. This will be narrowed to 1-2 hours on the morning of delivery.
10. What is the guarantee on Linx Beds products?
All our beds have a 1 year’s manufacturing guarantee. Any flaws or failures to show up within this time will be resolved at Linx Beds discretion. This could be a replacement, repair or refund.
11. What is your return policy?
We can accept the return of any item, no questions asked, provided you notify us of this within 14 days of delivery. Please note that while Linx Beds will arrange the return courier and transit at our discretion, a refund will be reflect the collection cost. Once the goods are back with us and have been inspected for quality, the refund will be calculated and processed.
12. What do I do if my bed arrives damaged?
If you order is damaged on arrival please let the delivery driver know. In most cases, we will bring the item straight back for a replacement to be arranged. Should the damage not be noticed until after delivery, please contact us as soon as possible with your details and photos of the damage. Once this information is received, we will be back in touch to arrange and offer resolutions.
13. What do I do about ordering a large amount of beds?
For placing an order for a large amount of beds we offer discounts for certain quantities. It is advised to contact us prior to ordering to ensure you receive the best price!
14. Will you assemble my bed for me?
Our courier, Keen and Able, will assemble your order if requested. This service is available to most UK postcodes and can be selected during our checkout. Prices for this service may be found here.
